Julius Randle's Wife Responds to ESPN

ESPN is under question in the Randle household. The producers of NBA Today failed analyst Chiney Ogwumike during her take on New York Knicks All-Star Julius Randle. As she communicated her opinion, the show utilized the wrong image, not helping her and turning the segment into a joke. Julius's wife, Kendra, took to Instagram to poke fun at ESPN.

The topic was how Randle had to watch his team succeed without him. "The hardest position is watching your team succeed without you," Ogwumike stated.

Instead of posting the 2024 playoff stats, the producers allowed an image displaying the Knicks' stats before and after Randle's season-ending injury. Frankly, the stats made Owumike look misinformed. However, the producer didn't help the on-screen talent easily and could have used playoff stats showing their success without Randle.

The Knicks' record was 29-17, and they averaged 115.4 points per game and a +5.6 points per game differential with Randle. To truly tank the segment, the show allowed an image suggesting either ignorance or negligence.

Without Randle, the Knicks posted a 21-15 record, 109.5 points per game, and +2.5 points per game differential.

Again, such a stat made ESPN's Instagram, further rubbing salt in the wound.

Kendra took the opportunity to make light of ESPN while defending her husband without going too far.

"Bad choice of statistics," Kendra said with a laughing emoji following the text response.

Randle averaged 24 points and 9.2 rebounds, earning an All-Star nod for his efforts.

The Knicks look to have their All-Star forward healthy for the start of the 2024-25 season.

Julius has been so loyal to us, he's not the face of the team and he knows it! He's done more for the Knicks than Carmelo ever did. Say no.
