Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell have meshed well together as a dynamic duo, putting up excellent scoring performances for the Indiana Fever.

Clark has impressed many basketball fans, in the WNBA or NBA or everywhere else, with her performances throughout her rookie season in the WNBA. She is putting up 19.2 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game on 42.3% shooting from the field and 34.7% from beyond the arc.

As for Mitchell, she is having the best season of her career when it comes to scoring. She is averaging a career-high 19.1 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists on a career-best 46.1% shooting overall and 39.2% from downtown.

And during Wednesday night's game against the defending WNBA champions, the Las Vegas Aces, the two broke a WNBA record involving their three-point shooting.

Clark had long eclipsed the mark of 100 made three-pointers heading into the game against the Aces. It was, in fact, Mitchell who was a bit behind with 96 triples on the season.

Fortunately for her, she caught up with four makes from downtown against Las Vegas, finally reaching the century mark as she joined Clark in becoming the first pair of teammates in league history to make 100 or more three-pointers each in the same season.

The game against the Aces was a tough one for the Fever, falling in an 86-75 defeat. Mitchell had a solid showing of a team-high 24 points, but Clark was limited to 16 points as she struggled with her shot. She went 6-of-22 from the field and 1-of-10 from deep.

Despite the loss, the Fever remain above .500 with a 19-18 record as they maintain a hold over the sixth seed of the postseason. With three games left, they will look to end the regular season strong when they face the Aces one more time on Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
