Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi helped talk a woman off of a bridge ledge on Tuesday evening in an incident caught on camera by surveillance footage.

According to local news, Bon Jovi was taking part in a photoshoot at the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, Tennessee when he spotted a woman hanging off of the bridge as if she were about to jump.

Surveillance footage showed Bon Jovi and another bystander approaching the woman on the bridge, before talking her off the ledge and helping her climb to safety.

After the woman was safely over the barrier, she could be seen embracing the rock star.

While Metro Nashville PD uploaded the surveillance footage of the incident to YouTube, it was quickly removed by the platform for violating “community guidelines.”

“A shout out to @jonbonjovi & his team for helping a woman on the Seigenthaler Ped Bridge Tue night,” wrote Metro Nashville PD in a statement. “Bon Jovi helped persuade her to come off the ledge over the Cumberland River to safety. ‘It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,’–Chief John Drake.”

Several music videos have been filmed at the iconic bridge in Nashville, including Dolly Parton’s “You and I,” Thomas Rhett’s “Crash and Burn,” and Big & Rich’s “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy).”
