The Internet Is Obsessed With Flavor Flav Giving Jordan Chiles A Bronze Clock At The 2024 VMAs

You know what time it is! At the 40th MTV Video Music Awards, Flavor Flav and Jordan Chiles presented the first award of the night. But he presented something else, too!

Quick recap: Jordan competed in the Paris Olympics earlier this year. After her coach successfully appealed her score, she won the bronze medal in the women's gymnastics floor routine. However, the Olympics' Court of Arbitration ruled that the appeal came too late — though USA Gymnastics insisted it fell within the correct time window — and she was stripped of the medal.

After the controversy, Flavor Flav tweeted that he'd make a bronze clock necklace for the athlete.

Well, tonight he made good on that promise! The Flavor of Love star said, "Jordan, I know they tried to take your medal away from you. But you know what? I got you something that they can’t take away from you." He hung a blinged-out, bronze clock on Jordan's neck.

The Public Enemy rapper donned some water polo gear — a shoutout to the USA women's water polo team that he financially supported.

"I don’t even know what to say here," the gymnast responded. "Thank you. Thank you."

Naturally, the internet loved this wholesome interaction. This person said, "not flavor flav giving her the bronze clock making me cry."

Another wrote, "ENERGY."

This person called him "every women's hype man."

And even USA Gymnastics weighed in, calling Flav "a man of his word."
