Taylor Swift Lets Loose During 2024 VMAs Performances: Just ‘Vibing Along’

Taylor Swift fans are feeling pretty enchanted now that several perspectives–along with behind-the-scenes footage–of the pop star busting a move at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have gone viral.

While she arrived at Wednesday night's event solo and without her dancing partner , NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce , the decorated artist clearly enjoyed herself and let sparks fly while only in the company of her peers, some close friends and collaborators, as several videos of Swift just "vibing along" during the show have since gone viral.

From Karol G 's lively performance at the beginning of the Sept. 11 program to about halfway through the show when Katy Perry delighted fans with a medley mashup of her own hits , the 34-year-old " I Can Do It With a Broken Heart " songstress was seen dancing through it all .

"one thing about taylor is she’s gonna be out her seat for every performance," one fan joked in a post shared to X (formerly Twitter).

"my sis gets DOWNNN," a second declared .

"Taylor picked this dress just so she could swish it around like that," another said of the first of two reputation -coded ensembles she broke out during the awards show. "I’m certain."

Even when the performances took her for a surprise, the Eras touring artist continued to groove, and of course, her fans praised her for it.

"I love how she just kept dancing along," one captioned a video of Swift seemingly waiting for the beat to drop during Perry's performance.

While there are still several awards yet to be announced, as of writing, Swift has taken home two "Moon People" for her 2024 hit "Fortnight" featuring Post Malone , one being Song of the Summer and the other for Best Collaboration.

Even before this year's event, the pop superstar has been awarded 23 VMAs over the course of her career . Swift scored nine of those awards at the 2023 VMAs alone, with her wins including Artist of the Year, Best Pop, Song of the Year and Video of the Year.
