    3 Waynesburg University football players charged after attacking student in dorm room

    Three Waynesburg University football players are facing charges after an on-campus assault.

    According to the criminal complaint, Ja Shawn Wyckoff, Omari Scott and Deon Windham pushed their way into a dorm room last wekeend in Martin Hall and attacked a student inside the dorm. That student said he was punched repeatedly by Scott in the face and his head.

    Windham was questioned by officers and told them the fight was over a stolen pair of shoes and a pet fish that was dumped out of the bowl.

    The players are being charged with burglary, harassment and simple assault. They have been kicked off the football team.

    A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Septemeber 25 for all three players.

    well I wasn't expecting it to be over shoes and fish... but usually when something sounds that far off it was really for something else...
