Angel Reese Showed Off Outfit for Sky-Mystics

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese may be sidelined after season-ending wrist surgery, but that hasn’t stopped her from being there for her teammates.

On Tuesday, September 10, the Sky announced Reese’s surgery was a success , and she’ll start rehab soon. Unfortunately for her, Reese's run for the Rookie of the Year award is now out of her hands.

Reese is in a tight race with Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark for the award. In the 34 games she played, Reese averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Even as a rookie, her 13.1 rebounds per game led the entire WNBA.

On Wednesday, September 11, the Sky faced the Washington Mystics, and it didn't go as hoped. Missing Reese’s presence on the court, the Sky struggled mightily and fell 89-58 to the No. 10-seeded team.

Reese was still there to cheer them on from the bench, and she showed up how she always does, in style. She shared her outfit on Instagram, rocking silver pants, a black top, glasses, and a sparkling purse.

Chicago is currently the eighth and final seed in the WNBA playoffs . With only four games remaining, it holds a one-game lead over the Atlanta Dream and the Washington Mystics.

Their next game is against the Lynx in Minnesota. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday, September 13.
