Sure, give the kid back and the lunatic mother will kill her over something else stupid. She's a 1 year old child - if she were in her car seat, where did she get shampoo to spill? Then the mother strikes her repeatedly and throws a 1 year old in the asphalt? if I'd been that woman who called the cops the mom and I would both be in jail because I'd be damned if she'd get that kid away from me. We'd have to wait right there for the cops. I know people can be armed and crazy, but this bullshit can't just keep happening. Child abuse should be a 1 and done offense. Abusers raise more abusers. Somebody has to break the cycle.
