According to Leavitt, she wanted to dedicate more time to her home life, especially as she is expecting her third child.

Additionally, Leavitt was seen pulling aside Mayci Neeley at Mikayla Matthew’s birthday party after skipping Neeley’s Baby Mama Launch. While Neeley was upset with Leavitt’s behavior, Leavitt tried explaining that she did not mean to hurt her. However, Neeley did not feel any better from Leavitt’s words despite the apology. Later, Leavitt revealed she wants to step down from Momtok and that she only needs people who support and uplift her. On the other hand, Mikayla said in her confessional that MomTok is better without Whitney. Leavitt also concluded her exit wishing luck to the team without her.

Apart from the episode’s conversation, the other members of MomTok addressed Whitney Leavitt’s detachment from the chat.
