Ben Affleck makes surprise move amid Jennifer Lopez divorce as he 'gets back on the dating scene'

Ben Affleck is hitting the gym amid his divorce from Jennifer Lopez as he gets ready to get "back on the dating scene", according to a source.

The Gone Girl actor is known to indulge in some fast food treats every now and again, but it's believed he's trying to adopt some healthier habits after J.Lo filed for divorce. The Jenny From The Block hitmaker filed the paperwork to end their marriage last month as she revealed they had actually split back in April.

A source has now claimed the divorce had Ben "wanting to really buff up and get into the best possible shape" as he is now "back on the dating scene" . It's believed Ben has hired a personal trainer to help him transform his image.

The source explained: "Ben's always had this Achilles heel when it comes to his workouts – he keeps up with his cardio and lifts weights at home to keep his upper body tight, mainly because he's so afraid of letting his pecs turn saggy and developing man boobs.

"But squatting and leg work isn't his deal at all. He hates it. So, the butt's droopy as a result and Ben's kind of buried his head in the sand about the problem until now."

Speaking to In Touch magazine, the source added: "So, the trainer's coming in, the junk's being phased out, as are the cigarettes, and fixing his rear end is physical priority number one!"

Amid Ben and J.Lo's divorce, she was seen spending time with his best friend Matt Damon. Jennifer and Matt sat together and were seen holding hands during an after party for their new film Unstoppable at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Ben decided to skip the event, despite being one of the producers of the film. Matt and J.Lo looked to be caught in a deep conversation as they were pictured at the party.

A source has since told People Magazine that the singer is "very close with Matt" and "enjoyed spending time" with him. They also revealed J.Lo was sitting at a table outside with the actor's wife Luciana Damon and co-star Don Cheadle when Matt arrived.
