Our inspiration today comes from an exhausted mama cat. The beautiful white cat has been saddled with the burden of raising six ginger babies. Six kittens of any flavor are more than a handful, but gingers are a special breed . We’ve all heard the rumors that ginger cats all share one brain cell. As this cat mom struggles, I’m sure she would probably agree with that assessment.

That level of exhaustion is extreme. The cat mom is rethinking her entire existence amid her struggles. One commenter said that six ginger kittens are equal to 12 regular kittens. Based on the exhaustion this cat mom displays, they might be right. We found many animal parents in the same predicament and rethinking their indiscretions. This Dalmatian may only have 12 pups, but we’re sure it feels like 101.

Parenting can be rough on any species, whether there is one baby, six, or a dozen. In the video below, you’ll see an exhausted bird with one chick falling asleep as she keeps her chick warm. When not tending directly to her chick, this Laysan Albatross is out foraging food for her growing chick.

Possums are the only marsupial indigenous to the United States. When her joeys are too big for her pouch, they cling to the mom’s back. Possums average six to nine joeys per litter. If you find a possum in your yard, please be kind. They eat up to 500 ticks, spiders, and other bugs per day and cannot carry rabies. They are your friend.

When the exhaustion hits like a tornado, most parents can shift into auto-pilot mode.

Please share if you’re an exhausted parent, and let out a knowing laugh.
