    Two Michigan football players are among the seven members of U-M’s 2024 Hall of Honor Class, the athletic department announced Sept. 11.

    From the Michigan press release :

    The University of Michigan athletic department announced its seven-member 2024 Hall of Honor class on Wednesday (Sept. 11), with Knox Cameron (men’s soccer), Amanda Chidester (softball), Dan Goldberg (men’s tennis), Curtis Greer (football), Ken Hayward (baseball), Denise Muresan (women’s tennis) and Calvin O’Neal (football) set for induction.

    The induction ceremony is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m., with another recognition to be held on the field during the Nov. 2 football game vs. Oregon.

    Criteria for consideration includes being an NCAA champion or member of a national championship team, an All-American, Olympic medalist, Olympic team member, professional league champion or world championship team medalist/member, NCAA or conference player of the year, conference champion, record holder or all-conference award winner.

    The U-M Athletics Hall of Honor was established in 1978 to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions as athletes, coaches and administrators to the tradition of Wolverine athletics and, in doing so, have enhanced the image and reputation of the University of Michigan.

    Michigan junior cornerback Will Johnson has signed an NIL deal with Perplexity, a a free AI-powered answer engine that provides accurate, trusted, and real-time answers to any question. Johnson’s sponsored post on Instagram featured a commercial starring his former head coach, Jim Harbaugh.

    Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore has officially signed his contract.
