    Woman, 74, punched in face unprovoked on Queens subway train

    NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 74-year-old woman was punched in the face in an unprovoked attack on a Queens subway train Wednesday afternoon, police said as they charged her alleged attacker.

    The victim was riding a southbound A train approaching the 104th Street station in Ozone Park around 4:20 p.m. when a man sucker punched her.

    The suspect, identified as Anthony Guadagno, 35, of Queens, was arrested a short time later and charged with felony assault.

    The victim was taken by EMS to Jamaica Hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
