Dave Grohl slams viral Instagram photo claiming to be his love child after affair reveal

Dave Grohl is calling out fake news about his life.

A now-deleted Instagram account named @valeriegreyston posted a photo of a baby named Roxie Junie Grohl and claimed Roxie is Grohl’s daughter who he fathered out of wedlock after cheating on his wife, Jordyn Blum .

However, Grohl’s rep told TMZ Wednesday that the viral post is fake.

The Post has reached out to Grohl’s rep for comment.

The post, which has been wiped from IG, showed someone’s hand holding that of a newborn baby.

‘My sweet Roxie Junie Grohl, being your mama has already been the most incredible experience of my life,” the caption began. “Every day, I fall more in love with you and this new role. Your daddy was by my side through the entire pregnancy, making sure we were both taken care of, and I’m so grateful for his love and support.”

“As much as I want to share my joy with the world, I also need to protect our privacy right now,” the fake post continued. “I’m happy that everyone knows about you, though, because you are such a special part of my life.”

The caption also said the newborn resembles the Foo Fighters frontman.

“From the shape of your eyes to the way your little nose crinkles when you smile, you are truly a Grohl through and through. It’s amazing how much of him is already shining in you. Your dad is so proudly that you carry on his family’s spirit, and I can already tell you have that same strength and kindness in you,” it read.

Grohl revealed his infidelity in a social media post on Tuesday.

“I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” he wrote.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” his statement continued.

“We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,” the musician concluded his message.

A rep for Grohl told The Post that Grohl had no additional comments at the time.

On Wednesday, a source told People that Grohl had retained a divorce lawyer before he released his statement.

Grohl tied the knot with Blum, 48, a former model and MTV producer , at their Los Angeles home on Aug. 2, 2003.

The couple share three daughters, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

Violet appears to have deactivated her Instagram account amid news that her dad fathered a fourth child; however, it’s unclear when she first shut down the page.

The father-daughter duo were spotted together at the Glastonbury Festival in June 2023 when Grohl brought his oldest child on the stage to perform a song from his band’s latest album, “But Here We Are.”

While the family has stayed mainly out of the spotlight, they posed together on the red carpet at the 2023 Grammys.

Grohl and Blum were also seen at Wimbledon in July, sitting inside the royal box along with other celebrities such as David Beckham.
