Cowboys vs. Saints Prep Disrupted by Hurricane Francine

The Dallas Cowboys are set to face the New Orleans Saints in Week 2, and "America's Team's'' foe  is experiencing some disrupted preparations. With Hurricane Francine impacting southeast Louisiana this week, the Saints have had to modify their practice schedule, forcing their coaching staff to stay overnight at the team headquarters to ensure safety.

While New Orleans is managing these unexpected circumstances, the Cowboys are focused on maintaining their early-season momentum after a decisive 33-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

The Cowboys' defense, which showed its teeth in Week 1, is ready to challenge a Saints team that has had limited preparation time. Led by defensive stars like Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, and Mazi Smith on the front line, Dallas is poised to apply constant pressure.

Behind them, linebackers Eric Kendricks, Marist Liafau, and DeMarvion Overshown provide a strong second layer of defense, while Trevon Diggs and rookie Caelen Carson lock down the outside. The top end, featuring Malik Hooker, Donovan Wilson, Markquese Bell, Juanyeh Thomas, and Jourdan Lewis, has already proven its ability to stifle opponents, limiting the Browns to just three points for most of their opening game.

Dallas' defensive unit will be looking to replicate that success against a Saints offense led by quarterback Derek Carr, who must navigate an aggressive and deep defensive scheme. The Cowboys will aim to exploit any signs of weakness or lack of preparation from the Saints, particularly as the New Orleans team juggles the effects of Hurricane Francine.

With the Saints coming off a high-scoring win over the Panthers, the Cowboys know that preparation and adaptability will be key. Dallas will seek to disrupt the rhythm of the Saints' offense early, forcing Carr into uncomfortable situations and limiting big plays downfield. The presence of Tom Brady on the FOX broadcast only adds to the anticipation of a thrilling matchup at AT&T Stadium.

As Dallas prepares to make a strong statement in front of their home crowd, Cowboys fans can expect an aggressive, unrelenting defense looking to capitalize on a Saints team that has had anything but a normal week. With their defensive front firing on all cylinders, the Cowboys are ready to extend their winning start to the season.
