A new restaurant has opened in Bowling Green, Ohio

BOWLING GREEN, OH - In case you missed it, this new restaurant has come to town.

Are you a fan of Indian food? If you answered yes, you might want to check out the new restaurant The Curry Lounge, which is located in Bowling Green at 434 E Wooster St Suite B. According to a post from the local chamber of commerce's social media account, the Curry Lounge celebrated its grand opening last month with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The restaurant's menu includes appetizers like vegetable samosas, chicken samosas, chicken 65, paneer pakora, chicken pakora, and more. As for main courses, the Curry Lounge offers dishes like paneer tikka masala, aloo gobi, vegetable korma, chicken curry, chicken tikka masala, chicken tandoori, and more. Most dishes can be made with a spice level of your choice. Spice levels are mild, medium, hot, and extremely hot.

Customers can also get a variety of bread like plain naan, butter naan, onion kulcha, tandoori roti, and more. If you want something to drink, the restaurant serves mango lassi, Indian soda, and masala tea. If you have room for something sweet, the Curry Lounge has desserts like gulab jamun, gajar halwa, mango ice cream, and more.

The food was phenomenal, came with friends and got 4 different dishes to try and all were outstanding. Mild spice isn't very spicy but medium has a good kick to it. The mango lassi was delish. The indian soda was just an indian version of lemon lime soda, literally made by the coca cola company but hey it was something new to try.
The service was a little spotty with servers getting tables confused, a wait for the check and to go boxes, as well as a little hard to communicate due to a language barrier, drink orders getting mixed up. But it's all very newly opened kind of mistakes, things that will get hammered out as they continue to thrive and grow and honestly they were all so nice you can't get made at them.

The new restaurant is open 6 days a week, Wednesday to Monday from 11 AM to 2 PM and from 4:30 PM to 10 PM. It's closed on Tuesdays.
