Few things are like southern seafood boils. The combination of shrimp and crab, corn and potatoes, plus loads of sausage and seasoning make it a truly unique dish. There are not many southern low country boil or seafood mixes like that around Phoenix, so whether you’re a southern transplant or you simply love the dish, it isn’t always the easiest to track down. One particular seafood boil and hibachi restaurant, which has been going strong for the last three years, has decided to expand to a second location, so lovers of this food style will have twice as many opportunities to stop by and visit.

You don’t have to be bonkers to enjoy Krazy Cajun Seafood & Hibachi. The restaurant is part cajun boil, part hibachi, which gives you a truly unique dining opportunity. The boils, which you can order directly from the menu or build your own, is a great way to order a meal for the entire family. Why deal with selecting individual items when everyone can chow on the same boil?

The menu isn’t the only highlight of a visit to Krazy Cajun Seafood & Hibachi. The decor and atmosphere add to the festivities as well. It has all the exposed, varnished wood, flotation devices, and other seafaring items to make you feel like you’re about to shove out of pork. All without leaving metro Phoenix.

While the original restaurant is located at 24 West Camelback Road (Suite H) in Phoenix, the all-new location can be visited at 9880 South Rural Road (Suite 104) in Tempe. The restaurant will maintain the same hours, which are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 11 AM until 9 PM, Friday and Saturday from 11 AM until 10 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM until 9 PM. It is closed on Tuesdays.

Appetizers include edamame, hush puppies, onion rings, fries, spring rolls, pot stickers, crab puffs, fried mushrooms, and others. Nood and rice dishes are stir-fried to order and can include everything from vegetables to chicken, steak, and shrimp. Seafood baskets, plus various sauce options, include oysters, fish, shrimp, and calamari baskets.

However, if you’d rather create your own boil, you will first select your seafood. These options include shrimp (head and headless), clams, mussels, crawfish, Dungeness crab, blue crab, scallops, snow crab legs, lobster tails, and king crab legs. Then, you select your seasoning (plain, cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter, or all), and decide how spicy you want it. The final step is to pick the add-ons, such as potatoes, corn, sausage, hard-boiled eggs, broccoli, mushroom, steamed rich, noodles, and hibachi fried rice.
