Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry says his efforts to reform the New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board will include a close look at the handling of Hurricane Francine.

"We're going to continue to lean in to that Sewerage and Water Board to try and understand what went wrong and to actually fix it," Landry told WWL's Tommy Tucker after the storm.

Landry said that if the same problems happen over and over again, someone needs to pinpoint what the weaknesses are and not let up on them until the problems are solved.

"I'm hoping that the structural changes that we made during the legislative session will remove the obstacles that did not allow us to continue to push on the necessary repairs and changes to the system," said Landry.

Landry is the Governor, but it appears he believes that means Mayor! You are only concerned about New Orleans, not the state! Please fix the state!
