Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 could be the series’ best-ever game according to beta players

CALL of Duty publisher Activision Blizzard held two beta tests for the upcoming game during August and September.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is set to launch on October 25, 2024, but millions were able to try out some of the multiplayer modes before its release.

Beta tests are often held for multiplayer games before they launch so that the developers can ensure that the servers are functioning properly.

Players can also give their feedback on the game’s performance and tell the team things they would like to see implemented or balanced.

It is also the perfect chance for the developers to get a sense of how people feel about the game and whether it will be a success.

Now that the beta tests have finished people have given their feedback, and the early signs are promising.

The official Call of Duty Twitter account has tweeted out some data the team received from the beta tests.

The tweet reads: “The dev team Treyarch is going through all the data and feedback to make launch even better.”

Comments from players were not revealed, but the data seems to show that players were loving it.

Firstly, it is Call of Duty’s most played beta to date, no doubt helped by the fact that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers were guaranteed access.

It also showed that the beta period has more hours and more matches played than any previous beta test for the series.

This again could be down to the larger number of players, which is likely due to easier access to the beta.

However, the most interesting stat that was released is that these beta tests had the highest playtime per player.

That means that each person who tried the beta test stayed for longer than they usually would.

This is the best sign that we have so far that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be the best entry in the series to date.

On social media beta testers also praised the multiplayer, in particular commenting on how the omnidirectional movement has improved every aspect of the game.

People have also commented on how they are pleased that the classic zombie mode will be making a comeback.
