Heather Gay Wants To Host Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Reunion

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu has proved popular among viewers. The Mormon influencer moms were swept up in the #MomTok “soft swinging scandal.” But the series also shows the battle over control of #MomTok, relationship struggles, and the bonds between these women. Of course, Heather Gay of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City took notice. And she wants to come to the party.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives hasn’t been renewed for a second season yet. But with all the cliffhangers in the finale, fans need it. After all, #MomTok founder Taylor Frankie Paul’s relationship with Dakota Mortenson is hanging in the balance.

Hulu also hasn’t announced plans for a reunion. Fan account @ratemybravo on Instagram inquired, “Serious question: who gets tasked with hosting their reunion?” Well, Heather jumped into the comments. “Please oh please,” she posted with a crying smiling face and praying hands emoji. Season 4 RHOSLC cast member Monica Garcia was nominated, which I’m sure aggravated her nemesis, Heather.

I think that Heather could be the perfect choice. She now has a second book deal after the success of her first book, Bad Mormon. In it, she discussed growing up Mormon, feeling like she didn’t belong, getting divorced, and leaving the church. So, Heather could certainly relate to several of the moms who went through divorces, including Taylor, Layla Taylor , Jessi Ngatikaura, and Demi Engemann .

In an interesting twist, Demi already has a connection to RHOSLC. Her husband, Bret Engemann, was previously married to RHOLSC alum Angie Harrington . The couple share two sons. So, maybe Heather Gay is the right Bad Mormon to lead a reunion for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives!

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu and Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City premieres on Wednesday, September 18 at 9/8c on Bravo.
