There are a lot of parts of being a puppy that seem like they would be a lot of fun: Being able to take naps whenever you want to, having the opportunity to play all day long, endless amounts of energy (even if you do use it for mischief). But one of the biggest perks has to be immediately becoming the best, cutest thing in the room the second you walk in. No matter where you go, people are happy to see you and gush over how cute you are — imagine feeling that level of love and support! It has to be amazing.

So while I'm not surprised at all by the reception that this puppy received when he made some new friends, I am proud of him for totally taking advantage. He deserves all the love and more!

On Tuesday, September 10, @the3retrievers shared a video of a Golden Retriever puppy, whose name is Gus, walking into a sorority house like he owns the place — and he might as well own it, considering the fact that he immediately took over the spotlight.

As can be expected, everyone was so happy to see him. He got so many pets and hugs and so much attention, all of which he totally deserves (after all, have you seen that precious face?!).

Gus brought these ladies so much joy, which we can see all over their faces. Everyone has the biggest smiles, like they can't believe their luck. I'm so jealous!

This little guy was so welcomed that he was even allowed on the beds. Talk about a ladies' man!

More About Gus the Therapy Puppy

Gus belongs to a family of Golden Retrievers who are also therapy dogs, and he has three big brothers: Archie, Oakley, and Winston. His family adopted him in July after they said goodbye to their 14-year-old dog, Georgia, in June.

"Georgia sent Gus to us and is smiling down as she watches Archie, Oakley, and Winston teach him all the things she taught them," his mom wrote in one Instagram post . "We miss her so much and feel her presence every moment of every day! You can grieve and love again at the same time!"

So far, it seems like he's fitting right in. Look how cute he is joining their puppy pile !

And while it's clear that he gets into trouble and causes just as much chaos as any other puppy would (just look at his antics in this video ), the video of him interacting at the sorority house shows he's well on his way to being an excellent therapy dog, too.
