College Football Legend Sends Strong Message to Deion Sanders, Colorado

The Colorado Buffaloes (1-1) have a whirlwind of supporters and doubters, and it seems that when they lose, those supporters tend to disappear. However, one college football icon is still firmly on the Deion Sanders and Colorado hype train as Week 3 approaches.

In what should be a fantastic environment for a rivalry game, the Buffaloes will have an opportunity to rebound after an ugly defeat to Nebraska in Week 2. They will head to Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium Saturday night to take on Colorado State (1-1).

Last season, the two teams delivered one of the best matchups of the year. Colorado trailed by eight with two minutes remaining when Shedeur Sanders capped off a 98-yard game-tying drive, sending the game into overtime. Colorado then emerged victorious with a 43-35 win in double overtime.

After losing 28-10 to the Cornhuskers, many have already jumped off the bandwagon, but not Big Noon Kickoff analyst and former football legend Mark Ingram .

"I'm still Sko Buffs! I'm still Sko Buffs, man!" Ingram said on the Triple Option Podcast.

The Big 12 Conference remains wide open, with no team having truly established dominance through the first two weeks. This lack of a clear frontrunner should provide a glimmer of hope for Colorado and the Buffaloes' supporters.

However, the Buffaloes need to change the narrative. A loss to Colorado State on Saturday would be detrimental to their season. For Colorado to build a program with sustained success, they need to handle business against teams they are expected to beat.

Despite the doubts and criticism surrounding the team in Boulder, Colorado, there are still some supporters rallying behind them, and Ingram doesn't seem to be wavering in his support.
