FLAGSTAFF, AZ - As Buc-ee’s plans to open its first Arizona location in Goodyear, the popular travel center chain known for its massive stores, extensive fuel stations, and unique merchandise is poised for further expansion in the state.

With Arizona’s growing population and heavy tourism traffic, several other locations stand out as logical choices for additional Buc-ee’s sites.

One prime location is along Interstate 10 near Tucson as this is a major route connecting Phoenix to Southern California and Mexico, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

A Buc-ee’s here would serve a high volume of travelers, including snowbirds and vacationers heading to Tucson’s attractions or beyond.

Another strategic location is Flagstaff along Interstate 40.

This interstate serves as a gateway to the Grand Canyon and other northern Arizona destinations, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Flagstaff attracts millions of tourists annually. A Buc-ee’s in this area could capture the market of road trippers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Lastly, Interstate 17 near Anthem, just north of Phoenix, is another potential spot.

This corridor connects Phoenix to Sedona and Flagstaff, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

It handles significant weekend and holiday traffic from locals and tourists alike.

These locations offer high visibility and access to Arizona’s busiest travel routes, making them logical contenders for Buc-ee’s future expansion in the state.
