Authorities say six men from Florida are facing federal charges in last month's violent carjacking and kidnapping in Danbury . The group, all from the Miami area, have been charged with conspiracy and carjacking and have been detained since their arrest. On Aug. 25, Danbury police received a report that a husband and wife who were
house hunting on Damia Drive were pulled from a Lamborghini, beaten and thrown into a white van. Once police arrived on scene, they attempted to stop the van. Authorities say the van accelerated and crashed 1 mile away on Cowperthwaite Street. Four the men fled the scene but were found nearby. The couple was found in the van, both bound with duct tape, and were taken to the hospital for evaluation. They informed police the Lamborghini was hit by a Honda Civic on Damia Drive and a white work van cut in front of their vehicle. The victims also said they had been forcibly removed and dragged into the van. The male victim told officers he was punched in the face and hit with a baseball bat when he began to resist. The other two suspects and the Honda Civic were located at a rental home in Roxbury. The Lamborghini was found abandoned on East King Street. Officials say the incident is being investigated by the FBI New Haven Violent Crimes Task Force and the Danbury Police Department. "

CT is a Democrat state. Nothing will happen to them. Had they do e this is FL, they'd pay for their crime.
