Is ‘The Killer’s Game’ Streaming on Netflix or Prime Video?

Dave Bautista is bringing the hits and the laughs in his new action comedy, The Killer’s Game , opening in theaters this weekend.

Directed by J.J. Perry, with a script by Rand Ravich and James Coyne, The Killer’s Game is based on the 1997 novel of the same name by Jay Bonansinga. Bautista stars as a hit man named Joe Flood (really!), who decides to take out a hit on himself, after he’s diagnosed with a deadly disease. Unfortunately for Mr. Flood, the assassins he hires for his assisted suicide decide to target his ex-girlfriend (played by Rebel Moon star Sofia Boutella), too. It turns out Joe Flood still has a reason to live—and a reason to fight.

Also starring Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror with Pom Klementieff and Ben Kingsley, The Killer’s Game looks like 104 minutes of pure, action-packed fun. Read on for all the information about where to watch The Killer’s Game and when we expect to see The Killer’s Game movie on streaming.

The Killer’s Game will only available to watch in a movie theater, when it opens in the U.S. and Canada on Friday, September 13. You can find a showing near you via Fandango . The Killer’s Game is not yet available to watch online or on streaming.

The Killer’s Game is not streaming on Netflix or Prime Video, and likely will not be on Netflix any time soon, due to the fact that the film is a Lionsgate release. Almost all Lionsgate movies go to Starz, the streaming platform owned by Lionsgate. You will be able to purchase The Killer’s Game on Prime Video eventually, when the movie becomes available to buy and rent on digital, but you will not be able to stream The Killers Game on Prime Video free with a Prime subscription. If you want to watch The Killer’s Game movie at home, you’ll have to wait for the film to be available to buy or rent on digital platforms, or wait for it to stream on Starz.

That said, it is possible you’ll see The Killer’s Game on Netflix eventually. Another Netflix movie, Miller’s Girl, came to Netflix this year after opening in theaters in January. But you’ll likely see The Killer’s Game streaming on Starz first.

The Killer’s Game is not yet streaming on Starz. Right now, the movie is only in theaters. That said, we do expect to see The Killer’s Game streaming on Starz eventually, but we’re not sure when. Another Lionsgate film, The Strangers: Chapter 1 , was released on “premium” video-on-demand after three weeks in theaters, and is expected to stream on Starz on September 30, about 19 weeks after releasing in theaters.

If The Killer’s Game follows a similar release pattern, you might see the movie on digital around early to mid-October 2024, and streaming on Starz around late January or early February 2025.

This is all speculation. If you want to watch The Killer’s Game movie right away, you can catch the movie in theaters.
