One of the four suspects in the murder of General Hospital alum Johnny Wactor (ex-Brando) has pleaded guilty to the charges brought against him.

TMZ is reporting that 18-year-old Leonel Gutierrez has pled guilty to attempted robbery and grand theft charges. He is currently out on bail while awaiting sentencing in November, and he could receive up to five years in prison.

Gutierrez was one of four men arrested in August for Wactor’s May 25 murder but was only charged with attempted robbery and grand theft. Robert Barceleau and Sergio Estrada, both 18 years old, were charged with murder as well as charges of attempted robbery and grand theft. The fourth suspect, 22-year-old Frank Olano, was charged with being an accessory after the fact to the killing as well as receiving stolen property and three counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

According to Los Angeles Prosecutors, Barceleau was the one who actually fired the shot that killed Wactor when the actor interrupted the men allegedly attempting to steal the catalytic converter from his car in the early hours of May 25.

The remaining three suspects have all pled not guilty and are currently slated to appear in court in October. Keep checking back here at SoapsInDepth.com for future updates on this developing story.
