At least three people shot inside The Continental in downtown Dallas, police say

KRLD is following a developing story out of downtown Dallas where police say at least three people were shot inside an apartment complex Thursday afternoon.

This is all taking place at an apartment complex inside The Continental on Commerce St. in Dallas. Police confirm to KRLD that there are at least three people shot. Police are still surrounding the building and in the building at this time. No word on arrests or information about the shooter.

Witnesses tell KRLD they heard at least a dozen gunshots inside the apartment complex.

Commerce is completely closed at this time. Officials say The Continental will be shut down for the next two hours as of 3:18 p.m. The public is asked to avoid the area.
