Bachelorette Jenn Tran ‘So Betrayed’ by Devin Strader’s Text Message Leaks

Jenn Tran has some choice words for Devin Strader following his little Instagram confessional. On September 10, Devin posted a long video to IG, sharing his side of the relationship after The Bachelorette .

To corroborate his side of the story , Devin shared multiple screenshots of text conversations between himself and Jenn. Apparently, he shared these screenshots without Jenn’s permission or knowledge.

He deleted the video soon after it was posted, but he couldn’t stop its reproduction and redistribution. Now, shortly after catching media attention, Jenn has responded to the whole ordeal.

Jenn Tran admits she didn’t watch Devin Strader’s video in full

Jenn appeared on the September 12 episode of The Viall Files, discussing her reaction to Devin’s video. “I have no idea why someone would do this, let alone someone I was engaged to,” she said.

“When you get engaged to somebody [or] when you’re dating somebody, your first thought is never, ‘Oh my gosh, these texts might be blasted for the whole world to see.’ Like, that is such an invasion of privacy.” She added, “I felt so betrayed, so disrespected and, honestly, just upset and disappointed.”

She clarified her biggest issue with the video. “I don’t have a problem with him going out there and saying what he needs to say, but I have a problem with him invading my privacy and releasing texts without telling me [and] without giving me notice.” Yeah, hard to deny those red flags frankly.

Jenn also noted that Devin “conveniently blurred out certain things but forgot to blur out other things that were very, very private. Like, my mom’s on the internet, dude, what’s up with that? It was disrespectful and I don’t appreciate it at all.”

However, Jenn also revealed that she hadn’t watched the video in full. “I don’t plan on it. I know what happens, I don’t need to watch a 13-minute video on it,” she said. “He’s wasted … six months of my life; I’m not going to give him another second let alone 13 minutes. I’m all set.” So, Jenn is still single , and maintains her stance on Devin.

The Bachelorette is streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
