Time is running out for those who want to attend the Lobsterfest at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

The event is set for Thursday, Sept. 19. Takeout is available from 5-7 p.m., and dine-in seating is still available at 6 p.m. The 7:30 p.m. seating is nearly sold out.

Manera S. Searcy with the church said that live Maine lobsters will be flown in and steamed on-site.

“Dinners include salad, potatoes, bread and dessert, all served by our friendly waiters,” Searcy said. “Dine-in patrons are also offered wine and soft drinks before and during dinner, as well as musical entertainment.”

All tickets are $45. Tickets must be purchased in advance by Monday, Sept. 16.

“This is a fun evening with great food and fellowship,” Searcey said.

All proceeds benefit St. Paul’s Episcopal Church outreach projects, including WINGS (a respite program for dementia patients) and the Christian Outreach Alliance food pantry.

Please call the church office at 874-8421, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. or ask a St. Paul’s member in order to make your reservations.

Sponsors for the event are Vaughan Regional Medical Center, Talton Communications, First Cahawba Bank and Dallas Air Conditioning & Heating.
