There were more than a few noteworthy moments from the much-awaited showdown between the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday, September 11.

Rookie sensation Caitlin Clark struggled in this one, putting up 16 points on 6-of-22 from the floor and just 1-of-10 from beyond the arc, to go along with three rebounds, six assists and five turnovers. With their star point guard struggling, the Fever ended up short against the two-time defending champs, 86-75.

The Aces were lifted by another amazing performance by MVP frontrunner A'ja Wilson, who exploded for 27 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks and zero turnovers. Simply put, Indiana had no answer to the utter domination Las Vegas center.

During the halftime break, as the Indiana players made their way back to the locker room at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, some fans could not help but take notice of a rather mysterious incident involving Clark. This is after the 22-year-old entered a different door in the tunnel than her other teammates.

As the caption on the above tweet indicates, some fans believe that Clark entered some sort of mystery room, which the supporters have been speculating about. This video has gone completely viral, amassing over 200,000 views in less than 24 hours, which serves as proof that it has, indeed, piqued the interest of more than a few fans out there.

This "mystery" has left the mean streets of X, formerly Twitter, utterly confused, with all sorts of (hilarious) conspiracy theories popping up left and right.

"That’s actually weird. Maybe a bunch of IV’s and blood transfusions since she plays so many minutes?" suggested a fan.

"She’s in there yelling because of the terrible officiating. In the majority of these games you wonder if these referees could even work a junior high game they’re so bad," said another.

"Its probably one of those rooms you can break stuff to get out frustration 😂" a comment read.

A fan with some inside information appears to have solved this compelling mystery, though. According to one Molly McGrath, there really is no mystery to it at all.

"lol you guys it’s a shortcut to the same hallway the other players go to. It’s just a set of doors and it goes to the same place everyone else is going lol," she posted.

She even shared a photo showing a different angle of the door in question.

"i have a pic you can literally see the door ajar right there lol that’s what she is running through 🤣" she replied.

I guess that settles it? What you can say for sure, though, is that the fans had a lot of fun with this one. In fact, most of them have refused to accept the most logical explanation above and have instead, stayed true to their weird theories and unconventional suggestions.

After all, it appears that the fans needed some sort of distraction after seeing Clark and the Fever play poorly against the Aces.
