Injuries have already been a pivotal part of the Minnesota Vikings season thus far. From losing two cornerbacks in July to T.J. Hockenson being on the physically unable to perform list, it's been a constant.

It hasn't stopped there either. The Vikings had some injuries stemming from their week one victory over the New York Giants and the latest injury report for their week two game against the San Francisco 49ers reflects that.

Wide receiver Jordan Addison isn't a surprise to be a DNP but it was a surprise to see safety Harrison Smith on there. Neither he nor right tackle Brian O'Neill who was limited had been mentioned to have an injury before. This could be normal bumps and bruises but both are worth keeping an eye on.

Edge rusher Andrew Van Ginkel getting back on the practice field is a big deal. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said on Monday that the Vikings held him out of the end of the Giants game to be cautious, as he returns from his Lisfranc injury.

Center Garrett Bradbury and wide receiver Jalen Nailor maintained their injury status and are likely to play on Sunday afternoon.

Friday's injury report will tell us more about their status for Sunday.
