Warm summer-like temps and rising humidity for Friday for Brooklyn

Watch out for fog before more summer-like weather It will be milder overnight with some patchy dense fog that could be a concern for the morning commute. Lows will bottom out in the mid-60s, warmer than the last several nights. Patchy dense fog is expected to be mostly at the immediate coast, but some patchy fog could extend across the entire borough, mainly between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Once the fog clears out by mid-morning, the sun will be back with barely a cloud in the sky. The humidity is slowly rising again, meaning it will feel like a true summer feel by the afternoon. Highs are expected to reach 84 degrees away from the water, feeling like the upper-80s. More fog is expected into Friday night, and poor visibility could impact road conditions for Friday night plans. It will roll in earlier, before midnight through sunrise. Saturday will be the hottest day with highs around 85 degrees and feeling like near 90. It will be cooler on Sunday with highs in the low-80s. Then all eyes turn to next week for some tropical trouble potentially brewing. Francine is no longer a tropical storm but contains a lot of tropical moisture over the Southeast. Some of the moisture associated with Francine will combine with a separate storm system early next week off the Carolina coast. Depending on the placement and intensity of that new storm, there could be impacts one week from now.
