Shannon Sharpe Getting Roasted After Scary Live TV Incident

Shannon Sharpe was the butt of the internet's joke on Wednesday, September 11 after accidentally going live on Instagram while having sex at his home.

The 56-year-old, who initially claimed his IG account had been hacked , fessed up to the incident on his "Nightcap" show on Wednesday , telling his followers that he was "embarrassed" and "disappointed in myself."

Still, his co-host, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, had plenty of fun at Sharpe's expense, and the online roasting continued on Thursday.

During a live broadcast of FS1's "The Facility," Emmanuel Acho and his three co-hosts worked through a scary moment — a 4.7 magnitude earthquake that struck the Los Angeles, California area — but that didn't stop him taking a playful jab at Sharpe afterward.

"Somebody said it wasn’t an earthquake, Shannon is just on IG Live again 🤣🤣" Acho wrote on X.

Acho wasn't the only one thinking it, either.

"That ain’t no earthquake. That’s Unc Shannon going for round 2!!" one fan wrote .

"That was probably just @ShannonSharpe again," echoed another.

"Oh that’s just Shannon and Michelle! No big deal!" said another, referencing Sharpe's "That's my Michelle" comments during the live video.

"@ShannonSharpe was putting in that work 😭" someone else wrote .

As for what led to the nearly five-minute video to surface online, Sharpe claimed the incident was not intentional.

"I threw my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity," he said. "I’ve never turned IG live on so I don’t know how it works and all of sudden my other phone started going off."
