It was truly a historic week in Big Brother 26 . The legendary OTEV Veto competition was played and it lasted only one round, with Makensy Manbeck winning by default. Angela Murray set a record for the most times someone had a veto used on them. Even the eviction was unorthodox, as the first member of the jury was not greeted by Julie Chen Moonves but, for the first time, a fill-in host.

Check out more information about tonight's episode below and find out who was evicted.

The first few weeks of Big Brother 26 , Quinn Martin's experience was a superfan's dream. He won a power on the first night and got involved in multiple alliances that were running things behind the scenes. Unfortunately for Quinn, whenever things tended to go well for him in the house, it was soon followed by things going very, very wrong. During both of his HoH reigns, he put up some of his tightest allies as pawns, only to get blindsided when house flips took them out. Even after the latest eviction left Quinn bumpuzzled once more, he felt alright about his standings with Chelsie Baham as Head of Household. But a seed planted by Angela Murray grew into yet another blindside. Makensy and Chelsie worked together to put Quinn up, feeling he was too big a threat and working with all sides of the house. And Quinn was left with one final shock in his eviction, feeling some players made a sub-optimal move.

What happened to Julie Chen Moonves on Big Brother 26 tonight?

Earlier today, host Julie Chen Moonves revealed she had tested positive for COVID following last week's eviction. As she was still testing positive this morning, she was unable to appear on this week's eviction episode. This marks the first time in 24 years that the veteran emcee has ever missed an eviction. Instead, The Talk co-host Jerry O'Connell filled in for the proceedings.

Who won Head of Household for Week 9?

The Head of Household competition did not play out in the eviction episode. We'll see who won HoH in Sunday's episode.
