    Achane Strikes Back; Ties Bills

    By Colin Miller,

After a strong defensive start for the Buffalo Bills, intercepting Tua Tagovailoa on the Miami Dolphins' opening drive, the Miami offense drove down the field and tied the game up against Buffalo, 7-7, in a drive that took over six minutes.

Running back DeVon Achane, who was a game-time decision prior to the game, walked into the end zone in a five-yard reception from Tagovailoa. Achane currently has 31 total yards on seven touches so far in the night.

After the drive, it was announced that Bills captain Terrell Bernard was heading to the locker room. It is currently unclear if Bernard will return tonight. If he isn't able to return, it will be a huge loss for Buffalo, as he currently leads the team in tackles through Week 1.

So far, the Bills defense has been able to contain star receiver Tyreek Hill, as he has just one reception for 10 yards through the Dolphins' first two drives. Meanwhile Tagovailoa has found Jaylen Waddle twice for 20 yards. One of those receptions took Miami to the Buffalo 1-yard-line, setting up the Achane touchdown.

In the prior drive, Bills' quarterback Josh Allen took advantage of the Ja'Marcus Ingram interception and found running back James Cook for a 17-yard touchdown. Allen was also able to find tight end Dalton Kincaid twice for 17 yards.

The Bills offense will look to strike right back against a Miami team that they have gotten the best of in recent seasons. Tagovailoa is currently 1-6 against Buffalo when he starts.
