John Harden was an air-conditioning repairman from South Florida. At 18, he married his high school friend, Rita, and together they raised four children in Jacksonville. In 1975, John moved into the house with his second wife and newborn son. One night, he woke up to the smell of smoke. His truck was on fire. While trying to put out the flames, someone striking him in the chest. The person responsible was never found. Strangely, seven years before this, a woman named June Farris had been having dreams of a house she had never seen before.
