Two New York Jets' starting quarterbacks were limited in practice for a second straight day while a new name popped up on the official injury report on Thursday.

Boundary cornerback DJ Reed and slot cornerback Michael Carter II are dealing with lower body injuries. Carter II aggravated his ankle during the season opener and subsequently left the game while Reed began experiencing knee soreness this week.

"They're both gonna be fine for the game," said head coach Robert Saleh on Wednesday. He will speak again on Friday in Florham Park ahead of Sunday's road game against the Tennessee Titans.

Meanwhile, defensive lineman Micheal Clemons was added as a limited participant due to a triceps issue. Clemons saw 31 defensive snaps and 10 special teams reps in the season-opening setback.

Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw was absent for the second day in a row on paternity leave. He welcomed a newborn on Wednesday.

Starting left tackle Tyron Smith was also one of the Jets' four limited participants on Thursday. He was given a prescheduled veteran rest day.

All Titans except for offensive guard Peter Skoronski (neck) fully participated on Thursday

The Jets visit Nashville for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff on September 15. The final injury report will be released on Friday afternoon.
