Not everything regarding the New York Jets was terrible from their 32-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers Monday night.

Despite the defense giving up over 400 yards of offense and eight straight scoring drives, and the offense turning the ball over, there were some positives to take away from the team's performance.

The offensive line, and Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers, in his first start since tearing his Achilles in 2023, completed 61% of his passes with a touchdown strike and 167 yards through the air. While he did turn the ball over, completing a game was a major positive for the former MVP and the Jets.

The other positive outlook on the team was the offensive line - especially when it comes to pass protection.

"I'll tell you, they protected really well," Jets offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said Thursday. "I thought they did a good job; Aaron didn't get hit much. I felt like he had some time in there. I think the run game stuff we just got to clean up. We were a couple of steps off here and there, and that will get corrected."

Hackett certainly didn't have the best game when it came to the team's personnel deployment and play calls. Despite the concern, there are plenty of reasons to get excited for the organization moving forward.

And it is the two positions the team has struggled to field at this point.
