It struggled to get by Arkansas in a fun overtime win, but the passing game worked. This is a big deal with Utah up next to start the Big 12 season.
Tulsa goes on the road for three games in the next four, but the season would be made with a win over the big school an hour to the west. It lost to Arkansas State in a good battle, but the team is good enough to make this a fight.
Northwestern State didn’t do much on the ground against the Golden Hurricane, and Arkansas State spent its time throwing. After struggling to run against Arkansas, the Cowboys will put a bigger emphasis on getting Ollie Gordon going to control the tempo.
