Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin played a major role in the biggest incident that came out of Thursday Night Football on September 12. It was the 26-year-old who was on the opposite end of a brutal tackle that saw Miami Dolphins cornerstone quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffer a head injury that forced the latter to miss the remainder of the game.

The two players collided in the third quarter of Thursday's contest, with Tagovailoa suffering a gruesome injury that was later diagnosed as a concussion. At this point, it appears that the Miami star will be forced to miss multiple games as he enters the league's concussion protocol.

Hamlin took to X, formerly Twitter, shortly after the game, which ended with the Bills securing a lopsided 31-10 road victory at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. The Buffalo safety, however, opted not to talk about Tagovailoa's injury in his first tweet since the controversial incident.

"Feels good to be balling again ♥️." Hamlin wrote as he shared a video of himself that was originally posted by the NFL on Prime Video.

A lot of fans were anticipating what Hamlin's reaction would be after being heavily involved in Tagovailoa's scary injury.

This is exactly why some of them could not help but call the Bills player out for intentionally ignoring the elephant in the room.

"Bro really?? Be remorseful at least," reacted a user.

"u ended tuas career how are u happy," a comment read.

"Bro you balled a concussion," said another.

"While I am happy you’re back and healthy, given the situation perhaps this isn’t your best look? You did not do anything wrong however sometimes less is more B well," pointed out a fan.

Much like Tagovailoa, Hamlin has had to overcome a major injury in his career. His came in the form of a life-threatening cardiac arrest in 2023 during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals. The former Pittsburgh standout was able to make a full recovery, and he is now expected to play a crucial role for the Bills and their Super Bowl hopes this season.

This being the case, the majority of his fans opted to congratulate the 26-year-old for his performance in Buffalo's second win of the season.

    "🙏🙏🙏you did good kid…you did good…" a supporter tweeted.

"You deserve it fam! 🫶🏽" commented teammate Darrynton Evans.

"Keep up the good work man you and the secondary got it on 🔒⬇️" a fan stated.

"Thank you Damar! Great game! You were number 1 in tackles and number 1 in solo tackles. #DamarStrong #GoBills #BillsMafia" another mentioned.

"Great 10 tackles. Way to lead the defense in a blowout win. You are inspiration sir!" a commenter wrote.

Hamlin has been through a lot in his career, which is why it comes as no surprise that his fans are rallying behind him -- especially after turning in a noteworthy performance in a Bills win.

Be that as it may, there's no denying that supporters still want to hear what Damlin has to say about Tagovailoa's injury. There was clearly no harmful intent from his end, but some supporters are expecting that, at the very least, the Bills safety would have had some sort of message for Tua.

True enough, Hamlin came out with another post roughly 40 minutes after his first one. This time around, he made sure to send a shoutout for Tagovailoa.

"fasho.. Sending you strength and healing for a speedy recovery. 🙏🏾 much love broski," he wrote.

Fans who have been clamoring for some sort of reaction from Hamlin got their wish.

Why she he be remorseful, he didn’t do anything illegal and he didn’t try to hurt him, Tua, is a victim of his own actions, Damar was just doing his job and fuck all of you
