The second week of the 2024 NFL season began with Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills defeating the Miami Dolphins with ease, 31-10. The big headline of the game was Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa leaving early after being ruled out with a concussion.

Bills safety Damar Hamlin tackled Tagovailoa in the third quarter , and the Dolphins signal-caller was able to walk off under his own power before being ruled out.

On the other hand, one bright spot of the game for Miami was the performance of running back De'Von Achane.

Achane's status was up in the air due to an ankle injury. He was able to suit up and looked healthy as can be, rushing for 96 yards on 22 carries and catching seven passes on seven targets for 69 yards the only Dolphins touchdown of the game.

After the game, every fan had a consensus opinion about Achane: He is the lone bright spot on the roster.

The famous meme popped up with the nice car outside of a shabby house.

Texas A&M fans responded to the tweet with the same thoughts.

"Literally Achane at A&M," one fan wrote. Another said , "This meme also worked when he was on the Aggies."

Another user on X posted a photo.

The caption read, "When only one person does the group project."

Another fan wrote on X , "De’Von Achane The Only Player The Dolphins Got." Another wrote , "You ain’t even lying. Only one that played well tonight."

One fan said Achane was the best offensive player for the Dolphins, which is hard to argue after the game.

"De’von Achane has been the best offensive player for the Dolphins tonight."

"Only player who came to play tonight for the fins was RB De’Von Achane. Salute," said another.

Keep in mind that Achane was entering the game nursing an injury, so we can only imagine what he will do when he is fully healthy.

Achane had a career-high in touches with 29 total on Thursday while leading the team in receiving and rushing, all while having wide receivers Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill on the same offense.

The next leading pass-catcher was veteran tight end Jonnu Smith, who had six grabs for 53 yards. Waddle and Hill combined for just seven catches and 65 yards, not even surpassing the total of Achane alone.

The Dolphins face the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3, so it will be worth watching to see if Achane breaks out once again.
