The Miami Dolphins lost the Thursday night football game to the Buffalo Bills by the score of 31-10.  This continues Buffalo's recent dominance over Miami. Though the loss was devastating from a football perspective, it was even worse because Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in the game, the third of his NFL career.

Concern has poured in for Tua amid this news.

Damar Hamlin who collided with Tua on the fateful play wrote on Twitter: "My love and prayers with @Tua .. Sending you strength and healing for a speedy recovery. 🙏🏾 much love broski."

Josh Allen gave a classy postgame response regarding Tua as a football player and human being.

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was emotional.  He kissed Tua's head when he came off the field and said after the game.  "I'm just worried about the human being."

Ex-NFL QB Robert Griffin III wrote on Twitter:  "Really just praying for Tua’s long term health. Another concussion puts him at 3 officially and countless other scares. Think of the person not just the player."

ESPN's Ryan Clark said: "Watching Tua Tagovailoa bury his helmet into Damar Hamlin’s chest was some of the scariest stuff I’ve seen in a long time, and it wasn’t even that big a collision. I’m getting old man. Soft as heck."

Tua's concussions have been widely viewed and commented upon.  It is worth noting that Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward has recently returned to the field after his fifth concussion since entering the NFL in 2018. He did not even consider retirement.

Wow! That's like the 5th concussion Tua had in three years. Not good! Perhaps, he should consider not playing anymore or risk chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). Which is a degenerative brain disorder that happens due to repeated head impacts. This often affects athletes who play contact sports or other sports and activities. So preventing head injuries is the best way to address this permanent condition. Here's to a quick recovery.
