One of the potential recruiting targets that was scheduled to visit for the App State game was not able to make it to campus and has rescheduled that visit.

4-star OL Adam Guthrie (Miami Trace, OH) told The Clemson Insider that due to a scheduling conflict he could not make it to the game last Saturday night. The 6-foot-7, 280-pound recruit said that visit is now set to take place next weekend when the Tigers host NC State. He will visit Kentucky this weekend.

Guthrie has more than 30 offers, with multiple services ranking him inside the Top 150. On3 ranks him as the fifth-best tackle prospect in the 2026 class. Auburn, Florida State, Miami, Penn State and Texas are just a handful of the schools to have already offered. Clemson has yet to extend one.

As already reported by TCI, 4-star in-state receiver Donovan Murph (Irmo) is also set to attend the NC State game. Murph was the first receiver to pick up an offer from Clemson in the 2026 class.

The 6-foot-2 wideout is rated as a Top 120 talent by multiple services and is one of the top players in the state. Murph now has more than 30 offers, with Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee being just a few.

2026 TE target Tayveon Wilson (Huntington Prep, WV) told TCI he plans to return to Clemson for the Homecoming game against Stanford on September 28. Wilson picked up his offer from the Tigers back in June after an impressive showing at camp. Penn State, Miami and West Virginia are some of his other offers.

4-star in-state OL Desmond Green (Timberland) told TCI that he will visit later in the fall when the Tigers host the rival Gamecocks on November 30. The 6-foot-4, 350-pound prospect picked up his offer from Clemson back in June and also holds offers from South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida State among others.

Rivals ranks Green No. 150 overall and No. 6 among all interior linemen in the 2026 class.
