I saw the movie and liked it very much, I actually met Reagan in 1979 in Montana.

"If you're not a fan of history or film, you might actually enjoy this movie. However, I have to agree with the critic—it presents a very whitewashed version of reality. Some of the more unsavory moments of the subject’s life are portrayed almost heroically, with constant over-the-top instrumentals that overshadow virtually every scene. A lot of the film was a mess, I completely agree with the critique, but I wish the reviewer had expanded further on why they believed this, because there's so much this movie glosses over."
