A consensus four-star edge rusher out of Georgia, Griffin committed to the Trojans on July 27 over offers from top programs like the Alabama Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers, and Florida State Seminoles. 247 Sports rates Griffin as the No. 1 linebacker in the 2026 class and the 10th-best player in the cycle. The 6-foot-4 edge rusher recorded 9 sacks as a sophomore last season.

Brandon Lockhart, a 6-foot-3 cornerback, became one of the earliest USC Trojans football commits 2026. Out of Loyola High School in Los Angeles, Lockhart is rated by 247 Sports as the 10th-best cornerback in his class. In his sophomore season at Loyola, Lockhart scored 2 touchdowns (pick-six and punt return), with his lone interception returned 90 yards for a touchdown.

Ja’Myron Baker committed to the USC Trojans over a year ago, pledging to the program on September 2, 2023. It came despite offers from multiple SEC programs like the Tennessee Volunteers and Texas A&M Aggies, who offered Baker nearly two months after the Trojans did (March 5, 2023). Rated by 247 Sports as the 58th-best receiver in the 2026 class and the 34th-best recruit in California, the 6-foot-1 wide receiver is coming off a sophomore season with 545 all-purpose yards, including 494 receiving on 32 receptions ( MaxPreps ).

Joshua Holland, a standout at St. John Bosco High School in California, had offers from the Oklahoma Sooners, Missouri Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs, but ultimately committed to the Trojans. Riordan, standing at 5-foot-11, committed to the Trojans on Nov. 2 2023 and is viewed as a strong bet to remain part of USC recruiting class in 2026. Last season at Sierra Canyon High School, the 5-foot-11 defensive back snagged 4 interceptions in 12 games.
