As the one-year mark approaches since a robbery at Truist bank in Leesburg, police are making a renewed push for information from the public.

The incident occurred at the Truist bank located at 1007 Edwards Free Rd. NE on October 2, 2023, Leesburg Police Department reported. And the suspect, described as a black male, remains unknown, Leesburg Police Department announced earlier this week.

“Someone knows who this individual is,” LPD said in a September 10 Facebook post, pointing out that the FBI is now offering a reward up to $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.

More information about the incident and photos can be found in the previous Watchful Eye report here.
