Ready to go back to the DMV? The Real Housewives Of Potomac returns to Bravo for Season 9 this October. After the exits of franchise OG Robyn Dixon and confessional queen Candiace Dillard Bassett, the dynamic among the remaining ladies was bound to shift—and shift it has! In the trailer, fans will immediately notice that former enemies Gizelle Bryant and Dr. Wendy Osefo have become friends again. Funny how that happens when your closest allies have been given the boot.

The trailer begins and ends with Dr. Wendy’s 40th birthday party. “I’m here for the girlfriends session,” exclaims Gizelle happily. “We have come a long way,” Dr. Wendy says. “We were in hell!” And that’s putting it mildly! While Gizelle and Dr. Wendy have solved their problems, Grand Dame Karen Huger and Mia Thornton remain at odds. “When you hold grudges, it’s going to make you a bitter old bitch,” announces Mia at Dr. Wendy’s celebration, stunning the other women.

After that confrontation, the clip includes scenes of a Panama trip, Ashley Darby repelling down the side of a building, Gizelle diving back into the dating pool, and Dr. Wendy’s visit to the White House to have a sit-down with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. The Real Housewives of D.C. could never!
We also get to meet new Housewife and former QVC host Stacey Rusch. While it’s clear she’s aligned with Karen, Stacey doesn’t hesitate to confess to Ashley that she and her boyfriend are choosing not to be intimate before a potential marriage. “Stacey girl, are you ok?” asks Ashley, incredulously.
Returning for her sophomore season—this time as a full-fledged Housewife— is MedSpa owner Keiarna Stewart who brings incredible style and humor to the group. However, Keiarna is having issues with cast mate Ashley. In the trailer when Ashley asks about the scar on her forehead— the one Keiarna received in the Season 8 finale after Ashley’s former friend Deborah hit her — Keiarna rightfully freaks out. “Don’t ask me shit about my scar!”
While there appear to be plenty of fun times ahead, this season will address some important happenings in the women’s lives, including Karen’s DUI and Mia’s new relationship with Atlanta-based radio host (and high school sweetheart) Incognito. One of the most heated scenes in the preview occurs when Incognito suggests he is the father of Jeremiah, Mia’s son with her ex-husband Gordon. To make matters worse, he tells this to Gordon himself. “This is a can of worms you opened,” Mia exclaims angrily to her boyfriend.
