A former Croton-on-Hudson firefighter has been sentenced to five years of probation for a fatal hit-and-run from 2023. Authorities say 34-year-old Richard Lent, of Peekskill, died in July when his motorcycle was hit by a car on Route 9 near Senasqua Road.
