I used to work expensive jewelry dept. You can get a nice-looking ring for less than $2000. COSTCO has beautiful diamond rings for a good price. I never believed in spending an arm and a leg for a ring. I knew I wasn't going to be married long and he was a cheap skate so I bought my own cheap but good-looking ring.
