The Miami Dolphins appear to have a problem at the quarterback position after Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion during the Thursday night game against the Buffalo Bills . One former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback is making a bold prediction as a result, and it involves future Hall of Famer Tom Brady.

Tagovailoa already had a troubling past with concussions ahead of the Week 2 game against Buffalo, and he suffered yet another in the loss to the Bills. It is his third known concussion in the NFL and he's almost certainly going to miss time.

How much remains to be seen, but if it's an extended period, the Dolphins might be on the lookout for another answer at quarterback. Miami has playoff aspirations and neither Skylar Thompson nor Tim Boyle are guaranteed to keep them afloat. In fact, they are more likely than not to not be enough to get the job done.

In the wake of Tua's injury, former Steelers quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges took to social media and boldly predicted that Brady will leave his FOX broadcasting job and come out of retirement to play for the Dolphins.

Brady might have a bit more motivation to ditch his broadcasting job after he had a shaky debut , and the Dolphins would no doubt be an intriguing situation for Brady to ponder joining thanks to their assortment of weapons.

But it remains to be seen if Brady even has any interest in coming out of retirement at the age of 47 and after not having played since 2022.

The Dolphins likely would only be interested in Brady if they know Tagovailoa is going to be out for an extended period of time, which has yet to be confirmed but is certainly possible considering his history. The Dolphins signing Brady and Tua coming back at some point would create quite the interesting controversy, and it's one neither Brady nor the Dolphins are likely to be interested in taking part in.

Would Brady coming back for the Dolphins be amazing to see? Of course, but we would say its unlikely to happen, regardless of how much time Tua is out.
